MMB Capstone
Real-time monitoring of sodium and/or potassium is needed in many clinical settings such as cardiology, nephrology, and hepatology. Current diagnostic methods are hindered by high costs, delayed results, and staffing limitations leading to delayed interventions and potentially compromising patient outcomes. For our capstone project, my team explore innovative solutions such as real-time electrolyte monitor that can offer rapid, cost-effective, and continuous monitoring for better management of electrolyte imbalances.
